Over the last few months Sound Cycle, The Borders Youth Music Forum, have been working with young musicians from across the Scottish Borders on a variety of different workshops and recording projects.
The title of the album, “Weave” reflects the diverse talents and music of all the young musicians who appear on the recordings, just a small sample amongst many across the region. Although varied in sound and approach, all hail from the Scottish Borders , an area with unique identity and rich and varied cultural heritage.
We hope to add a second collection over the coming months.
The Sound Cycle project received financial assistance by Creative Scotland ,Youth Borders and Live Borders.
