Evie Archenhold a 15 year old singer/
Songwriter who has been singing since she could talk. Her songs are inspired by life as a teenager. She tries to make her songs relatable to all young people. Evie has brought two thoughtful and thought provoking songs to the Weft album, her maturing songwriting has touched upon issues of identity ,self confidence ,friendship and trust . She has been assisted by Max, 3 out of 4’s drummer, who contributed some great drumming to her recordings.

lyrics

I'm just a girl ,who went through some things, but
I'm ok now, you see.
All these people smiling, I tried to disguise it, acting like it was me.
The girl you want to be with, well that just wasn't me.
You liked the girls who had a laugh ,and smiled endlessly.
But I'm not one of those who you can play with, like your typical Barbie Doll,
And I understand I'm difficult, and maybe not quite what you want, but you'll see,
I'm just typically me.
