"NO PLANET B "( Sound Cycle Mix) was recorded at Mac Arts Centre Galashiels in August 2019 during recording sessions for SOUNDCYCLE 3 - WEFT - NEW MUSIC FROM THE BORDERS, which will be released in December 2019.

BECC AND FORTH
Becc and Forth are Rebecca Williams and Chris Caswell , a sibling duo who have been playing together since childhood. They combine honest lyrics with beautiful harmonies to create a unique, memorable sound and their special connection on stage and in the studio brings their music to life.

No Planet B is a heartfelt plea to society to realise that we have to change our ways and find a more sustainable way of life,in order to save species and our world from the Climate Emergency.

Verse 1:
In this crazy mixed up world
In which we all try to survive
A world of self destruction
Full of greed and genocide
Lies a planet full of beauty
a planet full of wonder
One that mans destroying
For out of greed comes hunger

Oceans rivers worlds are damaged
By mans selfish reckless act
Always dumping and polluting
Watching as the waves react
In a torment of destruction
Tearing through from sky to floor
Each one stronger than the other
Until man is no more

Chorus:
The futures what matters
Can’t live in the past
We need to take action
For generations to last
We need evolution
For mankind to grow
For our planet to prosper
And reap what we sow
There’s only one way
For this world to thrive
If we keep on burning
Then only deserts survive
It’s time to mend fences
Don’t put up a wall
Let’s all work together
So our planet won’t fall

Thinking back to greener days
No plastic bags to throw away
Had no lasting bottle tops
Wildlife thrived no mutant crops
Now only melting ice we see
Sadly there’s no planet b
Food crops turning into dust
Wildfires raging with pure lust
Fossil fuels and nuclear waste
Carbon footprints made in haste
Smog filled skies on which we choke
Empty promise leaves no hope

All other species in decline
Extinction faces human kind
Let us prevent this ecocide
